Materials
- 2 colors of chenille yarn (or your preferred type of yarn, I used Sweet Snuggles)
- 5.5mm crochet hook (or other suitable size hooks)
- Darning needle
- Safety eyes (16mm)
- Stuffing
Note: If you want to make a bear instead of a panda, just follow the pattern using one color!
Arms - Make 2
R1: Using darker color, 6 SC in a MR R2: 6 INC (12) R3-R9: 12 SC (12) (7 Rounds) Stuff the arm. Flatten and SC through both layers (6) FO
Ears - Make 2
The ears are made in a MR, but instead of going in a circle, you will CH and turn your work. R1: Using darker color, in MR (2 HDC, 2 DC, 2 HDC) Ch 1 and turn work R2: 6 SC INC (12) Ch 1 and turn work R3: 12 SC FO and leave a tail for sewing! Attach between R33-R36, 2 stitches from the eye spot.
Legs - Make 2
R1: Using darker color, 7 SC in a MR R2: 7 INC (14) R3-R8: 14 SC (14) [6 Rounds] FO first leg only, leave a longer tail to sew gap between legs. Make second leg, but do NOT FO. You will begin the body now; switch to the lighter color. R9: 14 SC in 1st leg then 14 SC in 2nd leg (28) Stuff the legs.

Placement may need to be adjusted depending on your tension. You want the arms 4 SC apart. You will begin the head now. Switch to the lighter color. R26: (4 SC, INC) X 4 (24) R27: (3 SC, INC) X 6 (30) R28: (4 SC, INC) X 6 (36) R29: (5 SC, INC) X 6 (42) The next four rounds may need to be adjusted depending on your tension.
