r25 - (4 sc, 1 dec) *6 (30)
Mark with pins two points between the 16th and the 17th rounds, leaving 14 sts apart. Insert safety eyes into these points.
Start stuffing the head.
r26 - (3 sc, 1 dec) *6 (24)
r27 - (2 sc, 1 dec) *6 (18)
Stuff the head firmly. Fasten off the thread, secure and weave in end inside of the head.
Make the face shaping for eyes. Take long strong thread, the color is similar to the toy's main color (in this case I used the same thread that was used for the parrot crocheting).
I marked with numbers the entry and exit points for face shaping on photos.
Try to insert the needle as close to the eyes as you can.
Insert the needle with long thread from the head's bottom to point 1, then reinsert it to point 2, then bring the needle to point 3, then - into point 4, to point 1 again, then to point 5, to point 6, reinsert into point 4 again and run through head out from bottom.
Pay attention that we pull the thread very carefully during the shaping, try not to squeeze the head very tight.
Tie thread's ends with three knots and weave in inside of the head.
Embroider the eyes with the thread of yellow color. Insert the needle from the head's bottom, run through head, make a stitch, run through head to the bottom. Repeat with the second eye.
Tie the thread ends and weave in inside of the head.
Beak (crochet with dark gray "graphite" yarn)
r1 - 5 sc into the MR
r2 - 4 sc, 1 inc (6)
r3 - 3 inc, 3 sc (9)
r4 - (1 sc, 1 inc) *3, 3 sc (12)
r5 - 5 sc, 3 inc, 4 sc (15)
r6 - 1 inc, 6 sc, 2 inc, 6 sc (18)
r7 - 18 sc
Then crochet oblivious to the beginning of round:
r8 - 1 sc, 1 inc, 14 sc, 8 hdc, 1 sc, 1 sl st.
Secure the thread and fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Add some stuffing to the beak.
Sew the beak between the 15th and the 23rd rounds. When there will be a small hole to sew, add some more stuffing.
Feathers (3 parts, crochet with light blue, blue, and green yarn)
Make 11 ch, then start to crochet from the second ch from the hook:
r1 - 4 sc, 4 hdc, 1 sc, 3 sc in 1 st, (then crochet along another side of the chain) 1 sc, 4 hdc, 3 sc, 1 inc sc (22)
r2 - 21 sl st
Secure the thread and fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
After you have decided where the feathers will be sewn, sew them one-by-one - green at first, then the others should be removed from head, then pin the blue feather and sew it on, then sew the light blue feather.
Legs (2 parts, start to crochet with brown yarn)
Stuff legs as you go.
Make 6 ch, then start crocheting from the second ch from the hook:
r1 - 1 inc, 3 sc, 4 sc in 1 st, (then crochet along another side of the chain) 3 sc, 1 inc (14)
r2 - 2 inc, 3 sc, 4 inc, 3 sc, 2 inc (22)

Change the yarn to light blue
r12 - (1 sc, 1 inc) *5 (15)
r13 - (4 sc, 1 inc) *3 (18)
r14 - (5 sc, 1 inc) *3 (21)
r15-16 - 21 sc
Crochet another 8 sc on the leg.
When you finish the first leg, fasten off the thread.
But don't fasten off with the second leg and continue to crochet the body:
r17 - 12 sc (along the first leg), 2 ch st, 21 sc (along the second leg), 2 sc (along the chain), 9 sc (along the first leg) (46)
Put the stitch marker (I use a contrasting thread for this), here will be the beginning of the round.
r18-23 (6 rounds) - 46 sc
Crochet 1 more sc to shift the beginning of the round, put the marker.
Stuff the legs and then continue stuffing as you go.
r24 - (1 dec, 21 sc) *2 (44)
