We will work the head alternating between color Macadamia (Skin) and color White (Hair). Where 'M' appears, it is with Macadamia, and where 'B' appears, it is White.
Embroidering the Face
- With the skin color, embroider the nose between rounds 49 and 50.
- With white thread, embroider the white part in the lower corner of the eye.
- With black thread, embroider the eyelashes.
- With White or Black, embroider the eyebrows in rounds 54 and 55.
- Blush the cheeks (optional).
Hair
Make 25 strands of hair approximately 35 cm long and fold in half to make them about 16 cm long. Each strand should have 4 threads together folded in half.
Mark the center of the head with pins if you have difficulty finding the center. Take an extra piece of the same yarn to work with the tapestry needle. Start by inserting your needle from the back of the head, coming out between rounds 58 and 59 at the front of the head. Place the first strand over round 58, bring your needle over the strand, sewing with one stitch to secure it in place and exit with the needle at the next round. Repeat this with all 25 strands, working towards the back of the head.
Dress
Start with color Pink (3077).
