Ears
Make 2 in body colour.
R1: ch 6, inc in 2nd ch from the hook, 3 sc, 4 sc into first ch, work up the other side: 3 sc, inc (14) R2: inc, 5 sc, 2 inc, 5 sc, inc (18) - FO with invisible join. - Weave in yarn tail.
Tips
- For clean lines, I suggest always fastening off with the invisible join.
- At the start and end of your sweater, you get crisp lines by first slip stitching in the back loops.
- It is easier to work in these loops if the slip stitches are loose. I do that by going up a hook size for the slip stitches.
- This colour change technique can leave a small stitch of the bottom colour visible. I cover this using a yarn tail from the top colour.
