It&#8217;s loaded with chocolate and peanut butter muddy buddies, red and green m&amp;ms, and crunchy pretzels, for a delicious, festive, sweet and salty snack mix.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>9\u00a0cups\u00a0chex cereal<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1\u00a0cup\u00a0chocolate chips<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3\/4\u00a0cup\u00a0creamy peanut butter\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1\/4\u00a0cup\u00a0unsalted butter<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1\u00a0tsp\u00a0vanilla extract\u00a0(optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1\/2\u00a0tsp\u00a0sea salt\u00a0(optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 1\/2\u00a0cups\u00a0powdered sugar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3\u00a0cups\u00a0mini pretzels\u00a0(divided)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10\u00a0oz\u00a0Christmas m&amp;ms<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1\/2\u00a0cup\u00a0Christmas sprinkles\u00a0(optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Add the chex cereal and 1 cup of the mini pretzels to a giant mixing bowl.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter in a medium sized microwave proof bowl. Microwave in 30 second increments, stirring after each, until you can stir it smooth.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stir in the vanilla extract, and sea salt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal and pretzels and gently stir to coat the cereal completely with the mixture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the cereal to a large gallon sized zip top bag, add in the powdered sugar too. (I often do half the cereal and half the powdered sugar at a time, since it makes so much). Shake it all up to cover the cereal completely in the powdered sugar.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pour the muddy buddies into a large clean bowl, and stir in the remaining pretzels, the m&amp;ms, and the sprinkles.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spread the mixture out onto parchment paper and allow to set till the chocolate is hardened, about 20 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This Reindeer Chow is the perfect Christmas Chex Mix.
